Expedia Let’s Take a Trip
In September 2020 — nine months into COVID-19 — world-renowned travel company Expedia realized the terrible effect the pandemic had on its revenue.
Worst still, experts were not hopeful that things would pick up anytime in the foreseeable future.
Most companies would start considering layoffs, organizational restructuring — any method to cut down on costs and keep themselves afloat until things get better.
But, Expedia and PXP thought the complete opposite. They understood that now more than ever, people needed to be optimistic about the future of travel — and so they came up with the marketing gem that is: Let’s Take a Trip.
Directed by Victor Haegelin, the campaign comprises of just one single asset: a beautifully-crafted stop-motion movie.
